So who are we and what do we like to do?
We are a group of enthusiast dedicated to the enjoyment, preservation and promotion of the Pontiac Firebird as one of the premier "pony cars" ever built. With the announcement of GM canceling the Pontiac brand, it became evident to us that there would never be another Firebird rolling off an assembly line. Therefore a group of owners gathered together to brainstorm how to "keep the dream alive", and ensure that the iconic status of the Pontiac Firebird continues on. The result was the formation of WMFC (Western Michigan Firebird Club), a non-profit organization. Besides monthly club meetings, we also participate in many outings like: cruise nights, trips to local drag strips and race tracks, caravans to national and regional car shows, fall color tours, holiday parties, and more. The bottom line is, we're enthusiast enjoying our cars.....so whether you're a collector, a driver, or simply an admirer of the Pontiac Firebird, we invite you to join us.
